A Couple of Christmas Cards

There isn't too much you can do with this stamp because it is so large. I embossed with bronze and kept it simple. Like the birth of our Savior--on a quite Holy Night.

I like this card because it different. It's not elegant by any means but understated. I bought the stamp at Hobby Lobby and really like the message.

Very, very pretty - both of them! I like the big stamp particularly. You did a great job!

Thanks for leaving a comment on my blog. Yes Martinsville is smack dab in the middle of Danville and Roanoke. I am sure you are finding it quite different from RI.

I travel to Martinsville for my job on occasion. That area has seen some hard times in the past few years.

Love all your cards! And yes, that big stamp really says it all without the extra foo-fah (of course..I have nothing against extra foo-fah!)
Thanks for visiting my Pink Room.

Two lovely cards Joan. I like the ribbon tree trunk, what a clever idea :). Mmm, I need to look out some brown ribbon.

Hi, these are really beautiful. I love embossing and think it sparks up many a card. I really like how the corners are tucked up in the punched edges. Thanks for visiting my blog and commenting on my arch. I do volunteer crafts in a nursing home and may try this project one day. It is messy during the production. I also live in Virginia, west of Richmond.
